Create resellers

With Resellers, you can expand your sales power massively. You can see a Reseller as a company that sells your service as is. A reseller is not allowed to create its own products, set prices, and can only see and access the customers the reseller generated. For each Reseller, you can define which Product they are allowed to sell at what price.

This is a quick overview, for the detailed documentation, refer to the Resellers guide.

Click My Deployments, select CRM, click Resellers.

There are two types of Resellers

  • Prepaid Reseller

  • Postpaid Reseller

With Prepaid you sell upfront a number of Products with a single payment plan to your Reseller. He can then use this for adding new customers or renew a subscription. When his purchased inventory runs out he has to buy a new quantity of Products. This way you are in control more than with Postpaid.

With Postpaid you sell Credits (you have to add Credits as a Currency in CRM > Currencies and use this also when setting up the Reseller). The Credits you can sell upfront as well. In your Product details in the payment plan, you can tell how many Credits you want for a product/payment plan you give the resellers access to the products they are allowed to sell. In this way, the reseller can sell any Product/Payment plan.

Adding a reseller

Click the Add a Reseller button. Specify login and business information. Then, choose required resellers settings - is it post- or prepaid partner. If this is a postpaid reseller, specify its balance. For prepaid, choose a currency. Click the Create Reseller to apply the changes.

Then, the new reseller will be listed on the initial page.

Resellers dashboard

Resellers get their own login into the TVMS. They will use the same login screen but their Dashboard looks a bit different from yours. As you can see, the Dashboard of the Reseller gives a clear overview on the products sold or credits usage depending on the Reseller type.
