SendGrid is a tool that you can use for mass mailing.

• We advise you to go with the plan considering the amount of emails you will be sending each month. Sendgrid provides an API Key that needs to be used for sending mails across the TVMS. You can sign up and set that key here https://app.sendgrid.com/settings/api_keys

• After setting up the key kindly whitelist the IP 35.204.115.18 over here(https://app.sendgrid.com/settings/access) if you have put restrictions for the IP else ignore it.

• We do verify the key by sending a sample email to our system admin email to confirm if the API key works fine.

For accounts created after Apr 6, 2020

• You have to verify your sending domain or email inside sendgrid https://app.sendgrid.com/settings/sender_auth.

• Verifying email is the simplest option to do if you want to send email from a particular address only. If you think that your sending email can be changed in future then you can go with domain authentication for which you need to know DNS settings.

• After authentication is done, in the test email field put up the email from which you will be sending the email to verify if the API key is correctly mapped.

• If you have chosen domain authentication then your email can be *@authenticateddomain.com and if you have chosen email authentication then it needs to be exactly same as you have put in sendgrid. This condition remains same when you send mass email.
