Add a User Interface

Choose a desired user interface - Akua, Honua or Iridium are available at the moment. In the following steps, Akua is used.

Click a required template. Read the details, continue by clicking Use the Template, on the new page click Start the User Interface Wizard.

Branding

• UI Brand name - a TV service name that customers see

• Login Text - The text below is shown to your customer on the login page, so give them info about how to reach support in case of trouble or promote where to obtain login credentials

• UI Support URL - a URL that customers use to get support

• UI Background image - an image that is used as a background of the entire service. Must be of 16:9 aspect ratio (1280x720 px)

• UI Brand logo - logo of a service, must be of 2:1 aspect ratio (200x100 px)

• Click Next Step

Styling

• UI Font - select a font to be used in the UI

• Focus Color - select the color when a focus item such as menu's, genres or popup button is not selected

• Selected Content - select the border color for when an item such as movie covers, channel icons, etc is selected

• Click Next Step

Languages

• Select Languages - select languages that are available in the TVMS

• Set Default Language - select one default language

Menus

• Click Add Menu Items

• Select desired menu items in an order it must be displayed in the app

• Click Add Menu Item

• Change a menu item position if needed or delete an unnecessary one

• Click Next Step

Settings

1. General settings

   • Enable Messages Menu - enable Messages feature in the app

   • Enable Watchlist Menu - enable Watchlist feature in the app

   • Enable Favourites Menu - enable Favourites feature in the app

   • Enable Settings Menu - enable Settings feature in the app

   • Enable Search Menu - enable Search feature in the app

   • Enable Large Fonts - enable fonts enlarging in the app

   • Enable Profile - enable users profiles in the app

   • Enable Kids Mode Profile - enable kids users profiles in the app

   • Enable Clock - enable the clock on the home page of the app

   • Enable Recordings - enable the Recordings feature and its menu item

   • Enable Catchup TV - enable the Catchup TV feature and its menu item

   • Enable Weather - enable the weather applet on the home screen of the app

   • Clock Format - select between 24 hrs and AM/PM format

   • Start Screen - a screen where the app starts

   • Sleep Mode Setting - set how minutes should pass to activate the sleep mode

   • Catchup Days - specify how many days Catchup is stored

   • EPG Days - specify how many days EPG is stored

2. Home Settings

   • Enable Hero Images - enable the big movie promo picture on the top of the home screen

   • Enable News Section - enable the News and Information box on the home screen

   • Enable TV Preview - enable the TV preview feature in the user interface

   • Enable Ads - enables advertisements in the app

3. Channel Settings

   • Enable Toggle Channels - enable the Toggle channels button in the Channels

   • Enable Sorting Channels - enable the Sorting Channels button in the Channels

   • Toggle Default Settings - change the channels layout

4. TV Guide Settings

   • Enable EPG Search - enable the Search button in the TV Guide

   • Enable TV Preview Screen - enable the TV preview window in the lower left corner

5. Series Settings

   • Enable Episodes Full Metadata - display metadata of an episode

6. Player Settings

   • Enable Mini EPG - enable the Mini EPG feature

   • Enable Channels Menu - enable the channels guide

   • Enable Catchup Buttons - show Catchup in TV Guide for respective channels

   • Enable Casting - enable the cast feature to another device

   • Enable Problem Report - enable the problem reporting menu

   • Enable Quadview - enable the Quadview screen with four channels playing simultaneously

   • Enable Watermarking - show user id every couple of minutes

   • Default Audio Language - select a language of audio that the player uses by default

   • Default Subtitle Language - select a language of subtitles that the player uses by default

   • Default Screen Mode - select a default video scaling preset

   • Player Type - select a desired player

7. App State Change

   • Restart App - if the app is minimized and then maximized, the whole app restarts

   • Restart Stream - if the app is minimized and then maximized, the app works but the stream restarts

8. Authentication

   • Lock Device to IP Address - a device is hard linked to an IP address

Click the Launch button to finish the UI setup.
