Channels

Open the TVMS, click My Deployments, select CMS.

Use Channels to add tv content to your users that will be available in the Users application.

Channels have the following properties:

  • Number - a consecutive channel number

  • Picture

  • Name - a channel name users see in the channels list

  • Pin to UI - show a channel on the home screen

  • Delete - delete a channel

  • Copy - copy a channel's properties to create a new one

  • Details - open properties of a channel

  • To activate the Delete Selected Channels button, check desired channels using the checkboxes

Items on the left panel:

  • Channels - the list of the channels

  • Channels Excel - the document that contains additional data you may use for the internal purposes

  • EPG Overview - the correspondence table of channels and EPG

  • EPG Urls - the EPG sources

  • Cloud PVR - statistics of recordings done by end customers

  • UI Groups - content groups, such as News, Sports, Music, etc.

  • PPV Rules - set up the access rights to a certain event, such as a concert, a boxing match, or a festival

  • Packages - combined channels into business units you can distribute
