App OTA

Over-the-air allows customers to get updates for Android devices straight from the customers app.

It is very useful if a new app version is released and customers need to update the app. Instead of a manual update, they will get a notification about a new version in the Settings, so it will keep the software up to date, providing customers with the best user experience.

When a new app version is released, the MwareTV team informs you. Then, the team will build a new application for you and send you an update URL.

• Description - add few words about an update, e.g. a little change log.

• URL - a link to an update file. It must be a real URL, not a shortened one. MwareTV team will provide you with a link to a new app.

• Version number - a version of a new file, e.g. v.9.0.1. Pay attention that a new version must have a sequential ascending number.

• Package Name - a name of a package (not an app name!) that you may find in the customer app: Settings > General Information > Package ID.

• Click the Add App Update to save the changes.
