Updates of Apps and Set-top boxes

Depending on the Operating System, Apps and the Set-top box (Android) can be updated in several ways.

The APK is a generic Android App that be installed on any Android Set-top box by a Manual update.
The Launcher APK is used for Set-top boxes if the App must be the first App that should open when a Set-top box is powered. It means that generic Android Screens are not visible. Some customers would like to offer a complete own experience that is controlled by them. They dont want their subscribers to use it as a generic Android Set-top box.
AAB is the same version as APK but used for publication the Google Play Store and cannot be side loaded on a device.
