Create App Approval Product

To pass all the checks by the app stores you need to create a special product which will then be provided for the approval.

Commonly, this product includes basic TV channels only, no VoD and Apps.

Define channels in a package

Package is a TV content business unit that you can add to your product.

Click Add TV Package to add a new one. Specify App approval in the Package Name.

Then, Add channels to open a popup window. Select channels you want to add to a package, then press Add Channels.

Best way is to add about 10+ channels with a strong content policy background

Create App Approval UI

Go to UIT, then click Add a User Interface.

The best UI choce is Akua, don't use other templates

Please, follow the Add a UI guide. Name the template as App approval.

Pay attention to the menu. Add Home TV only, Channels, TV Guide and Settings, no more menu elements!

Create a product, then add a package there

Once the package is done, go to CRM > Products. Click Add Product. Please, refer to the Create a product guide and name the product as App aprroval.

Be sure there's the TV approval package only

Add branded customers

Add branded customers in order to provide app stores with the testing credentials. Refer to the Create customers guide to learn more.

For every customer, assign the App Approval product

Depending on a platform, always use the following First/Last names:

  • Google Approval

  • Apple Approval

  • Samsung Approval

  • LG Approval

  • Amazon Approval

  • Roku Approval

  • password always must be 56789
