The Roku App supports the TVE (TV Everywhere) feature of the Roku Channel Store. Subscribers will receive an activation code (see screenshot below) to unlock the Channel which then allows the subscriber to log in with their username and password.
To activate this feature, you must follow two steps:
While creating a new Roku channel, select the first checkbox:
2. In the Test Credentials you need to add a Link URL to your production hostname, add /?connect at the end:
Such screen appears soon as you open a Roku app
You may open the mentioned link in a web browser or scan the QR code.
In a web browser, you need to enter the credentials, like Service ID, Username, and Password
Enter the Activation Code and click Submit
Then, the Roku app logs in and shows the Home page
